I’m a trial Attorney, and I handle a great deal of different kinds of cases. In terms of pursuing traffic ticket defense cases, I rarely take those on because that is more of a specialty and probably would be better handled by someone who works on such cases on a regular basis.
Also, the best situation is when the lawyer has already established a connection with the traffic court. In other words, he or she is familiar with the prosecutor or is aware of the judge’s preferences in his or her courtroom. Having that relationship is important.
